Animatica builds directable AI for character animation, generating high-quality motion from just a few key poses, while keeping the animator in creative control. It ships as native plugins: Animatica Choreographer, free, which generates motion in Blender; Animatica Marionette, which poses and edits it by hand, launched on Product Hunt on October 21; and plugins for Autodesk Motion Builder and Autodesk 3ds Max. The MMCP protocol and the generation backbone are open source under Apache-2.0. Animatica is built by PANTOMIM P.S.A. in Gdańsk, Poland, co-funded by the European Union.
